Showing the formula for calculating Passover from the Cross to Passover 2011

PASSOVER MARCH 31st 33 AD TO PASSOVER IN 2011

In 33 AD, Christ held the Passover with His disciples on Thursday evening, March 31. The day

of Passover would then be Friday April 1.

From March 31, 33 AD until March 31, 2011 = 1,978 years

1978 x 365.2422 days =722,449.0716 days

722,449.0716 days divided by 29.530588 (length of lunar month) =24,464.4323235 months

The number after the decimal must be converted to days in order to know when the Passover will take place in the year 2011.

To convert .4323235 to days we must:

Multiply it be the length of a lunar month:

.4323235 x 29.530588 = 12.7667671612

Next, we minus this number from the number of days in a lunar month:

29.530588 - 12.7667671612 = 16.7638208388 days

Again, Passover in 33 AD began March 31st, and in 2011 began 17 days (rounding

off 16.763) after March 31st, the 17th/18th of April.
