Exactly how new is man's 'evolution' into an advanced thinking and reasoning higher form of animal?
Was man not evolved 50,000 years ago? Or twenty thousand years ago?
Was it only 5,000 years ago that man 'evolved' to the point of being able to develop and comprehend written language?
How odd that a supposedly highly evolved being for quite some time (man) only relatively recently learned how to write words down in a known language.
Very strange, isn't it?
It's not strange if you're a Bible believer though. God tells us that just about 5,000 years ago He confounded man's language at the tower of Babel, thus prompting the newly divided human race to see the absolute necessity of developing a written record of their transactions (i.e. written language).
Genesis 11:5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
