In Your light we see light to do that which is right,

In Thy pure and perfect sight.

In Your Word there is life, there is freedom from all strife

There is peace and eternal life.

And God’s name we confess for in Thee our souls shall rest

In the heavenly home of the blessed, (home of the blessed).

Do not fear, child of God: take His Word, the Staff and Rod!

Trust His Law, the Two-edged Sword.

We obey His commands, He will guide us by His hand,

Till we reach the promised land.

All His servants He sends, feeds His sheep until the end

He His help He continually sends, (His help He sends).

In Your Light we shall find the renewing of our mind.

In Your Word all Thy wisdom explore.

Draw us now and reveal all the truths Thou hast unsealed

And through Judgment we shall endure.

Keep us safe, ever near, make us Thy true Word to hear

In Thy Light dwell forevermore, (dwell evermore).

We shall ever adore, worship Thee forevermore,

In Thy Word lies a treasure store.

In Your light there is peace, there is joy that shall not cease,

In Your Light we abide evermore.

In Your Light we shall sing and our voices they shall ring,

praises to our great Savior and King, (our Savior King).

Now God’s Judgment has come and His will it shall be done,

God the nations divide by His hand.

Even then, by His side, all His saved ones shall abide,

In God’s Light they forever shall stand.

In the light of His face, we shall see Him by His grace;

Holds us fast by His almighty hand, (almighty hand).
