Be still, my soul: the Lord is on thy side.

Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain.

Leave to thy God to order and provide;

In every change, He faithful will remain.

To guide the future, as He has the past.

His voice Who leads His children here below.

When we shall be forever with the Lord.

When disappointment, grief and fear are gone,

Sorrows forgot, love’s purest joys restored.

When change and tears are past,

All safe and blessed home with Christ at last.

Be still, my soul: Lord Jesus reigns on High.

Oh God, our refuge in the Judgment Day.

Through tribulation He will be our Guide.

Oh, Lord be near us, hear us when we pray!

Till Heaven’s joys we see,

In peace forever we shall dwell with Thee.
